• Are taking a narcotic pain reliever such as codeine.
• Are taking promethazine (Phenergan) or prochlorperazine.
• Are taking appetite suppressants.
• Are taking cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril)

Common side effects that may occur during your treatment with Tramadol hydrochloride include the following: dizziness, drowsiness, headache, nervousness, tremor, anxiety, nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, itching, dry mouth, and/or sweating. If you experience any of these side effects continue treatment and consult with your doctor. If you experience any of the more severe side effects associated with Tramadol, such as allergic reaction or seizure, stop taking Tramadol hydrochloride and seek emergency medical attention.
