Cialis (Tadalafil) Uses
Cialis (Tadalafil) is a new prescription drug
that treats Erectile Dysfunction (male impotence).
How does Cialis work?
Cialis works similarly to Viagra, by increasing
blood flow to the penis.
How to take Cialis
Cialis comes in two different strengths: 10 mg
and 20 mg. The normal startup dose for most patients is 10 mg of
Cialis at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. If you don't
experience results the first time you take Cialis, your doctor
may recommend increasing your dose to 20 mg. Remember to follow
your doctor's advice exactly. DON'T take more Cialis than what's
prescribed to you. If side effects occur or if they become bothersome,
talk to your doctor.
Cialis precautions
Cialis may cause dizziness in some patients. Until
you're exactly sure how you'll respond to Cialis, use caution when
driving or operating heavy machinery. To minimize your chances
of experiencing side effects, avoid drinking grapefruit juice with
Cialis. Also, DON'T use Cialis if you're taking medications containing
nitrates, have uncontrolled blood pressure, or if you have a history
of stroke or heart attack.
What to tell your doctor
Before you begin treatment with Cialis, tell your
doctor your complete medical history, including medications you're
taking and medical conditions you're diagnosed with.
Cialis side effects
Like most medications, Cialis might produce some
side effects. In clinical testing the most common side effects
reported with Cialis were headache, dyspepsia, dizziness, flushing,
nasal congestion, back pain, and muscle pain. These side effects
were generally mild and weren't severe enough to discontinue treatment.
