Allegra Allergy Medicine is a non-sedating antihistamine
that relieves seasonal allergy symptoms like runny nose, itching,
watery eyes, and sneezing.
How does Allegra Allergy Medicine work?
Allegra Allergy Medicine relieves allergy symptoms
by blocking the effect of histamines. Histamines are chemicals
in your body that cause allergy symptoms.

For people 12 and older the normal recommended dose is 60 mg or
120 mg twice daily.
Allegra precautions
You should not take Allegra if you have retained
urine, narrow angle glaucoma, severe high blood pressure, heart
disease, or if you have taken MAO inhibitors (depression medication)
within the last 14 days. If you experience an allergic reaction
to Allegra such as difficulty breathing or swelling of the lips,
tongue, or face, discontinue use and seek medical attention immediately.
Do not take Allegra with antacids that contain aluminum or magnesium
such as Rolaids, Magnesia, and/or Pepcid Complete. These antacids
may decrease the effectiveness of Allegra.

Before you begin taking Allegra, tell your doctor
if you have a serious illness such as heart disease, kidney disease,
or liver disease. Also, if you are pregnant or nursing talk to
your doctor about potential risks to the fetus or baby.
Allegra Allergy Medicine side effects

you are taking Allegra include: headache, cold, coughing, back
